“Great bakery and Cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

Made our first trip to Guglhupf just before the holidays. bought great danish, bread, and then sat down for coffee and scones. Quite delicious. Wondering how I missed this place all this time.

“Very nice for lunch, dinner or dessert”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014 via mobile

This is a nice place to have lunch, dinner, or coffee and dessert. The bakeshop is nice also having cakes, breads, etc.
This is a very popular local resturant, and always busy. The price can add up specially for dinner, but the quality and taste makes me go back.

“Great German Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

I started visiting Guglhupf when they started out just as a bakery. The baked goods are really, really good! I do buy my bread, rolls there. Later they added the restaurant. The food, atmosphere is just excellent. I am German and really found a great authentic German bakery-restaurant I love to go to.

“Great Restaurant, Bakery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

I always order treats from Guglhupf Bakery when I have parties, delicious breads as well as tasty pastries. Great food in the restaurant, outside seating on a nice day pleasant. Only complaint-it gets a little crowded.

“Excellent New Year's Eve Dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

We've dined at Guglhupt sporadically over the years and were drawn to their New Year's Eve dinner menu. The food was excellent but the staff seemed a little stretched during our 8 p.m. meal. They were running up and down stairs and seeming to wait on a larger number of tables than usual. Took a little bit longer to get our meals and to pay but we just went with the flow. Everything from the wine, beer, oysters appetizer, entrees (scallops, venison and risotto) and dessert (raspberry sorbet) were delicious.
