“World Class Garden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This is a wonderful resource, and I actually plan to make a monthly trip to the Gardens. When I visited in March 2012, my husband and I were waiting for appointments at Duke Medical, and since the Garden is literally across the street, it was a calming, peaceful place to wait. I visited again with a brother in June, and we enjoyed the Asiatic Garden, the terraces, and the white garden. Still, such a lovely way to spend a pleasant time.

“Fabulous formal and scenic landscape gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

These wonderfully beautiful gardens continue to evolve since their establishment in the late 30's, Water elements, There are marked plants in naturalized forest area, plenty of cool structures and a fabulous well tended formal garden that is constantly being replenished with seasonal annuals for the most color at all times of the year. The ever expanding Japanese gardens are wonders. Spend a delightful hour or two,

“Explosion of nature! Place to be in the spring-summer blooming season”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

Beautifully laid out, excellent landscaping, loads of flowers through most of the year. Nice for an hour's walk or a day's outing. What a treasure.
