“Nice place for brunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

Foster's has a great vibe and they have a really charming place. The food is good and is pretty good value for money. The Butterscotch pancakes (a special) are amazing. I highly recommend them. Sharing is a good idea because the portions are large (for a tiny Asian girl like me).

“Great Brunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Wonderful day to eat outside and the food was wonderful. Had the grits with black beans/salsa and eggs ...excellent . The ordering process is very slow especially with all the college students who cannot make up their mind . Wonderful bakery , and the take away salads are very good

“Our favorite breakfast joint in the triangle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

We bring all our visitors here for the experience. And the breakfast is always good. No, the ordering process is not ideal, but once you know the schtick, you are set. We love the outdoors and I must say, we never have had trouble finding a seat. They always seem to be expanding the seating areas anyway. The biscuits are to die for, the omlets and waffles are always good. And although it seems trivial, the bacon is the best in town. I love being around people reading the new york times, well behaved dogs playing, and kids getting to be kids, but no one is ever loud or intrusive. Go there for the experience of the wonderful outdoors of NC.

“Sarah Foster's baby”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

Well, what can you say about a Martha Stewart protege who made it big on her own? Hard to believe that building was once a place that sold chain saws, among other things. It's rustic and charming and chock full of good food. You can't go wrong here. And there are always specials that use local produce. The scones are fabulous and now there's a coffee bar. Take out or eat in at the funky tables and outside picnic tables.
