“College visit 101”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

Sign up prior to visit, easy parking at visitors center. Beautiful campus. Official presentation gets ****. Student led tour random, depends on luck of the draw. It was a Friday morning before classes started, Tour guide interjected too much of his own experience for my taste:)

You can tell this university has a large endowment and has used it to create a beautiful, top-notch facility.

“It's, well, Duke!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

If you're coming to see the basketball team or Cameron Indoor Stadium, prepare to be disappointed. The stadium isn't that impressive, even with its stellar history. But Duke Chapel, the quad, the library, and East Campus are pretty impressive. Not to mention Duke Gardens where something is blooming year 'round. A nice walk, lots of green space and better during school holidays ; - )
