“Great room and front desk at good price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014

I arrived on a Tuesday night around 6 P.M. the night staff was on duty. The gentleman was pleasant and after checking me in I asked about a few of the local restaurants. He gave me his honest opinion, good and bad. Which I appreciated. The room was clean, modern, and smelled nice. The next morning I needed to print out a quote and the front desk manager, Christy Parish was more than willing to help me get this done. Even after the printer didn't work, she gave me the email address to the office printer for me to get this done. Price was third lowest for my Choice hotel list and I was very impressed. Ill be back.

Room Tip: Get a king if you can, they are used less.

Stayed for 3 nights in November 2013 . Rooms were clean and neat. Breakfast was good, especially the hot waffles. We stayed there last year also and had a ball at the races and warm comfortable rooms. Good value.

Best thing I can say is good location. Other than that: Room was so so and dated. Old carpet and furnishings. Harsh lighting reminded me of a dorm room in college. Bathroom small behind a pocket door that was noisy to open. Had to ask housekeeping several times to replace towels. Had an ok breakfast. There for races so wasn't too fussy with the guys but would never take the wife there. Also like all the other hotels rates were jacked up for race weekend.

Thank you for staying with us earlier this month and for your time in posting a review. We're excited to tell you that the hotel is undergoing a total renovation beginning in November, just a few weeks from now. All of the pocket doors are being replaced with standard interior doors and the rooms will be getting all new carpet, paint, soft goods and furniture. The renovation is slated for completion by early Spring. Your towel service issue has been brought to the attention of our housekeeping staff for resolution and we appreciate your letting us know about that. While we have always enjoyed a super location by Spring our guests will also enjoy a fresh, newly renovated hotel. Thank you for your feedback and your business.

The Concord Sleep Inn is nestled in among other chain motels of every brand and variety. We found that our king-bedded room was a great value compared to the other motels in the area. A number of restaurants - and a Starbucks - are within a waling distance. The mall and associated restaurants are quite close. The Charlotte Motor Speedway is 5 minutes away.

Room Tip: Upper-floor rooms that face the front of the property are quieter.

Stayed here two nights for the Charlotte Auto Fair. It would have been a nice place if the room was clean and maintained. The light over the sink in the kitchenette area flickered but would not turn on. The end of this counter was repaired with a piece of board. The carpet was dirty and had a big black spot in the middle of the room. The blanket on the bed had seen better days so I tried to keep it covered with the top sheet. The bathroom needed a really good scrubbing top to bottom. There was mold in the corners of the tub and around the jets for the jetted part.Nice big jaccuzi tub but I wouldn't dare sit in that thing. Brown rust like drips were coming from at least one jet. The entire door facing inside the bathroom had brown drips and spatters all the way around. Breakfast was slim. We went at nine each morning and many items were never replenished like cereal and yogurt. The woman working breakfast was pleasant and kept this area clean and some things like coffee service stocked. The front desk staff we encountered were pleasant and readily gave me extra towels when asked. Normally we would have complained, had the room switched or left but we had a non-refundable reservation and the whole area was packed with people, mostly men, for the car show. There are too many other places to stay near the race track to put up with this. Next time we head to Charlotte, we won't be staying here AND we won't have a nonrefundable reservation!

Room Tip: We were on the back of the hotel. You could see the pool from the room but you could REALLY hear the...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your recent visit with us. While we're very happy that our staff was pleasant and helpful we're very apologetic for the numerous issues you cited. Many of those issues will be resolved when the hotel undergoes a complete renovation beginning the second week of November. Please know that your comments with regard to housekeeping issues were immediately addressed with our executive housekeeper and staff. We so regret that your visit didn't go better. Again, thank you for your valuable feedback.

We needed a place to stay after our son did the NASCAR Driving Experience so we chose this hotel for convenience and price. Overall the room was small but clean and comfortable except for the desk chair which was discustingly dirty. I put a towel over it to sit. It is an average hotel with an average price. Nothing to brag about. The continental breadfast was good. One thing that stands out about this hotel is the staff. The front desk manager was very helpful and polite. He even came out to our car as we were leaving the next morning to give us a discription of a scenic drive we had asked him about.

The hotel location was convenient. Beds were very comfortable, which was of upmost importance following a long drive. The lobby and hallways were clean. Continental breakfast was more than adequate. There was a slightly stale smell in the hallways, which I attributed to guests using the indoor pool and tracking water.
