“Best Place in the Area to Eat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

This is a charming, tiny little bistro right across from the entrance to Chimney Rock Park. Has seating inside and out. You are likely to be waited on by one of the owners. We locals enjoy sitting at the counter and chatting with them when it isn't too busy. You cannot miss their Roasted Pepper/Gouda soup -- I've traveled the world and nothing matches it. They have wonderful sandwiches -- a prefer the prime rib sandwich and their Cuban sandwich. Prices are moderate for a tourist area and the quality of the food is quite gourmet. The wait staff is just the best. Save space for a cinnamon roll before you leave and if you're too full -- get one to go! It's worth the drive from Hendersonville or Asheville if you aren't local and it makes for a nice drive. I always try to remember to check Facebook off season to make sure they are open as winter hours do vary.

“Good all round restaurant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

This is the best restaurant that we have found at Chimney Rock. The food is fresh and excellent. Try the roasted Red Pepper soup, yum. They even have anchovies for the Caesar salad. The staff are helpful. The desserts are a special treat.

“Awesome Cuban Sandwich”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

The combo Cuban sandwich was hot and delicious! I upgraded to a "bowl" of the Red Pepper/Gouda soup... extremely tasty on this chilly night. Extra $4.00 charge if you split entree. My husband had to finish mine, there was so much food.

Was referred to Medina's by a shop keeper... was pleased that TA reviewers thought it was as good as we did.

“Try red pepper soup & prime rib sandWich”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

Medina's was recommended to me by a local massage therapist I saw earlier in the day. She said she always hears good things about their food & what she heard was right! Roasted red pepper soup was amazing! Husband had prime rib sandwich and raved about how delicious it was. Coleslaw was awesome too. Chicken salad sandwich was also a great choice... actually I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu!
