“Breathtaking scenery....Can't top the view.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

What a wonderful place to see. Climbing the stairs wasnt that bad, but if you want they do have elevators to get you to the top. And at the top there is ice cream waiting for you along with a gift shop. The views are simply amazing and worth every last step. Can't wait to go back and see some more of the trails and falls. Make sure you pick a nice clear day so you can see for miles.

“Lots of Stairs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Don't let your ego get the better part of you. You can take the elevator up and still have lots of stairs to climb. We had a beautiful fall day to take it all in and went all the way to Exclamation Point at the very top, stopping at Opera House and Devil's Head on the way up.

“Amazing views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

We were traveling around the USA for a few weeks and came across Chimney Rock thought it looked interesting so popped in for a visit.

We had such fun and the views are amazing.

There is a lot of steps/up hill so may not be the place for some.

Would go again if I was in the area.

“Very High UP”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

If you get car sick or suffer from Vertigo this may not be the place for you. The ride to the park was up a very curvey steep hills with narrow roads for about 30 minutes from Asheville. Then when you get the the park there is still a ways to go befor you actually get to the park. But once you get there the view is wonderful. Do not do this trip in any of the summer months you will die from the heat.

“Lots of steps”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

The view was spectacular. The hike up to the top is by way of steps, lots of them. We went in Oct., the weather was nice. Wouldn't want to climb those steps in the heat.
