“Great Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

We found this by accident when we made a spur of the moment trip to Cherokee for our Anniversary. We had only planned on spending one night but ended up staying two nights because of the convenient location and peaceful surroundings. The premises were clean and inviting. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river, which was a pleasant surprise. The beds were so comfortable, we slept in both mornings. The breakfast was great and the hotel staff's recommendations for lunch and dinner were spot on! Spent one afternoon at the pool-very clean and well maintained. We'll definitely be back!

This Comfort Inn is a quiet retreat. Nice people and close to attractions while a little off the beaten path. The usual Comfort Inn great breakfast and relaxing atmosphere. Room was clean and while it didn't have the microwave and fridge that some of the CI's I've stayed in I really didn't need them for one evening and I image that some of the rooms do have them. I spent one day driving up through the Smokey Mtn. National Park to Cades Cove and back. Had a very enjoyable trip and would highly recommend the new Italian restaurant at the Harrah's Cherokee Casino. Really great food. One of the things that had been lacking on some of my previous trips to the area.

My husband & I left home for some away time for our 15th anniversary, and luckily we somehow ended up here. We stayed in one of the suites, with a perfect view of the river and mountains. It was so peaceful, kinda like we were the only ones on the property. The room was just perfect, and the bed so comfortable! We checked-in for a total stay of 2 days, but finally left after 4 days. It was just what we needed!

We also got a suite on the river even though we were only there one night. It is an older hotel but it was very clean and well-maintained. The parking lot and grounds were clean and well lit. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The room was big and the bathroom was very nice and the shower was excellent. It was very quiet and away from the tourist hub-bub. It was raining while we were there but the pool looked really nice. If I had kids with me I would have asked for a room near the pool because the hotel is a little spread out.The breakfast had a large selection of items and the coffee was good. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. I would definately stay there again.

We are a member of Choice Privileges and received an upgrade to a suite on the river. The room was very clean and comfy. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Heather at the front desk was knowledgeable and offered suggestions on how to get around and where to eat.

Room Tip: The suite we had was very nice and we could sit on the balcony and watch the river.

Hotel was very clean. Our room was decent sized. Parked right outside our room. Couldn't see the river too well from our room. Hotel staff wasn't overly friendly, but did their job.

My wife and i booked a suite upon arriving we found dead cockroaches on the floor called front desk they moved us to a room next door / one of the reasons to have a suite was the balcony / but we could not use it because it was covered in spiders and spider eggs the nite was just as bad the power went out we sat in our car because the roon was hot for 3 hours when i decided to get my room cancled witch they were willing to do the next day while checking my bank account we found they had taken the room out twice i called and the desk clerk said the manager stepped out and she would have ( jeff ) call as soon as he came back . received no call this is the last time i use this dump

Room Tip: Dont waste your money
