“Nice!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

I was a little hesitant about staying here because of the reviews and bad photos but it was really nice I have no complaints. We received a free night because of Casino promotional coupon but I would pay to stay as well. The free breakfast buffet was really good they kept fresh hot food on and it was clean overall the hotel and dining area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I only give this hotel a nice rating because I mean its not a high end hotel yet its worthy of a good compliment and good experience.

We got this room as a comp through Harrah's as they had no vacancy. Listen, this is a two or three star hotel and based on that rating I think it's just fine. We were in Cherokee to ride motorcycles and gamble. (The casino is 2.5 miles away, cab fare was a ridiculous $20.). The beds are comfortable, the AC is older and a little noisy but it worked. The bathroom is smallish but clean. The front desk staff are very sweet and accommodating. The breakfast was meh but FREE. I would stay here again. (We also stayed at the EconoLodge and this place was better IMHO). ***For optional ratings I rated spa accidentally but there most definitely is no spa here!

Room Tip: Choose room near parking lot so you can keep eye on your vehicle. Parking lot is pretty big. Great i...

The room was very comfortable and ac worked great. The only problem I had was the fact that 2 big lights were out in the parking lot. As a solo female traveler, that made me feel uncomfortable. It also have outside corridors. I prefer inside. Didnt try the breakfast. May stay again if I have a partner travelling with me.

Easy check in The beds in the rooms are very comfortable !!!!!! Slept well I had left some items in the room, and called and Kim went and checked and found my stuff . Thank you KIM. She was so friendly, told me to call back and she would go and check room. The room and not been cleaned yet and she got my stuff and brought it to the front desk. The breakfast was yummy. Thank you Laurie our server for all the refills on my diet coke. She never let my glass run dry. Thank you for a Great stay. See you next month.

Room Tip: Up stairs in Building 2, facing the mountains beautiful view!!!!!!

The hotel was pleasant nice service folks but the rooms were run down and the very bright lights shown in the windows as there were no curtains but sheers in the room. There for no privacy. Also free breakfast with fake eggs just does not do it for me.

The reviews terrified me....but not bad at all! The best bang for your buck! Quick getaway type of place. Breakfast was not bad....best free breakfast I have ever had at any hotel, hands down!! Staff was friendly.

Stayed at the Chestnut Tree Inn and the staff was unfriendly, poor customer service, no manager on duty, general manager never returned my phone call, front desk manager never returned my phone call either. Rooms were very nasty, place is unsecure a well. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel ever.
