The Sheraton Charlotte Airport is a great hotel very convenient to the airport. I have stayed in this hotel several times when I have to fly out of CLT, and have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is friendly, the rooms are nice, and it is only a five minute shuttle ride to the airport. The hotel is somewhat pricey for the quality of hotel that it is, but its proximity to the airport is well worth it.

I had a canceled connecting flight in Charlotte and the airline placed me in this hotel. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and made what was a lousy experience more pleasant. I arrived after 3a.m. and they offered late check-out. That really made a difference.
My room was clean and everything was in working order. The shuttle service was timely and the driver helpful. Would recommend this hotel to people looking for lodging near the Charlotte airport!

Arrived after a flight from London via Chicago for a four night stay at this property. The free shuttle from the airport was efficient and managed to fit 11 of us plus luggage into the van.

The hotel itself is looking a bit tired, that was my first impression. The lobby could do with a bit of a refresh. They were renovating the pool during our stay which included the gentle sound of the jack hammer!

The staff were certainly the best part about the hotel. The reception staff were incredibly helpful in organising a vehicle, transfers and recommendation for restaurant. Their recommendations for local food options were great. The bar staff were also a lot of fun.

The rooms themselves (I ended up with a disabled room) were pretty dark but clean and a good size. The lack of mini bar, though more common in the USA is odd coming from Australia. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean.

Breakfast in the restaurant was pretty good. The buffet selection was extensive and the staff happy to help and always ensured your juice and coffee were topped up.

Overall it was a good experience.

A big reasonably clean hotel not too far from the international airport in Charlotte, there is surprisingly little around this hotel and little to mark the location. The first time through I drove right by the unmarked entrance.

There is not much next to the hotel, a gas station on one side, a lot of mechanics garages running down the street on the other side and across the street, a major highway 85.

The hotel is big and modern. The service is a little odd. I do not think I spoke with anyone there who did not act as if I were a bit crazy. The first room I was given actually had someone already in it. No apologies from the desk clerk but disbelief in my claim that the the beds were unmade, there were clothes scattered about and the TV was on.

Dinner was in keeping with the general experience with a waiter who treated me like I was crazy. The food was good but the drinks were watery and every thing seemed a bit expensive.

TV is a bit limited in channels. I guess the idea is that you are supposed to buy entertainment from the hotel. There was not too much noise and the room I was in was large, seemed clean (no UV detector in my bag), and was comfortable.

Leaving, I noticed again the oddness of the people working there. If you said hello to them as you walked through the hotel, they would pretend to be looking the at something interesting on the wall. I had a bag of garbage I wanted to get rid of in the car from a week of camping but the person at the front desk told me there was no place I could put it so I drove it to the car rental place where they politely dumped it for me.

Overall, I think the hotel is nice but the people who work there are not and would go somewhere else in the future. I liked Embassy Suites a few miles away. Everyone there was pleasant during the times I have stayed. This was just a little on the cold side for my taste.
