I booked a room using some hotel points I had accumulated from previous stays with Choice Hotels. The room was a really good value for only 5000 points per night. It was a suite with a king bed and a separate living room area the size of the first room that also had a jacuzzi tub.

The jacuzzi tub was clean and so were the linens. The hotel itself is a little dated, but you really shouldn't expect top of the line for the price.

I was a little concerned about the parking since the hotel is in a not so great area of town, but the lot was monitored by security cameras.

Considering I was only going to be staying for 7 hours to get some sleep before driving, it was a really good value. I would recommend this hotel as a quick, cheap and convenient place to rest. You would probably want to get a suite though since they appear to be cleaner than the other rooms.

When arriving at the hotel we found that a call girl known by the front desk checked in with her John in front of us. After being assigned a room we get into the elevator with what seemed to be a smell of leaking hydrolic fluid. When going into the room we found fecal stains on the couches, blood stains on pictures and walls. Refridgerator spitting fluids from burst pipes within it. Airconditioner doesnt cool very well even in small rooms. Doors into second wing left hanging of the hinges. holes in walls. In the room we stayed in we found there was no saftey chain and the only lock we had was the one on the handle itself. One of the light fixtures was hanging off the wall which I found to be quit a hazard. A small child could very easily pull this down and be injured. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone at all!

I am all for discount hotels that are sparely furnished with few services, particularly when its just an overnight layover. Really, all I need is a safe, clean place to shower and catch a few hours of sleep. However, even I was not particularly comfortable in this hotel. Its seemed to be in a sketchy part of town (about 15 minutes from the airport) and security was quite lax. The entry doors on the second floor, for example, were wide open all night long, anyone could have just wandered in. The rooms were not filthy and the bedding was clean but the bathroom left something to be desired. Dirty washclothes from the previous guest were still hanging on the shower rod and two of the towels had hairs on them. Needless to say, we skipped showering that day.

Aside from that, that, the shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient (though many of these smaller hotels close to the airport do shuttle service). We left too early both times to comment on the breakfast but the area looked clean.

If it had been clean and a little better secured, I would have been very happy, especially for $40 a night. However, I can't say that I'd stay here again.

I booked the hotel for 3 nights without problems, and got a reminder about a week in advance. OK.
I knew coming from abroad, I would arrive late (around 11:45 pm), so I called and didn't understand the receptionist and sent a fax some days in advance to ask for the shuttle service. Arrived, no shuttle, was told at the airport to call. It was 12:05 pm so the receptionist said "too late"... I insisted refering to the fax, so they finally fetched me ! so so....
The room was big with microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator. Very good for the money although not refilled one night, but OK. In general the services OK and reasonably nice personnel.

Internet computer has some bugs (an upgrade of memory and to WinXP plus "cleaning" would serve), but it worked for basic webmail etc. OK

Could improve :
- Shuttle service at night
- Written info "for shuttle please call immediately at arrival"
- Receptionist training to listen and to talk clearly and slowly at the phone
- Internet computer serviced and upgraded
- Long distance calls (either possible billed or selling phone card at reception)
