Stayed here on leisure. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and had little book lights on the headboard. However, the smell of the room was musty, and the whole place lacks luster. Probably will stay elsewhere in the future.

Good proximity to Southpark mall.

My husband, infant son and I stayed at the Marriott Executive Park for a short weekend trip to see family. I saw some of the mediocre reviews of the hotel, and was a little concerned. However, the stay at this hotel was a great experience for us. We checked in late, and they had a room ready for us. I had requested an in-room refrigerator, which was not in the room, but it arrived even before the bellhop did with our luggage. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable. We loved the bed, and had plenty of room for a pack-n-play for our child. The bathroom was quite nice as well. It is obvious they've recently renovated.
We enjoyed the breakfast each morning (it was included in our room rate - I'd highly recommend getting a package that includes breakfast). The only complaint I have with the breakfast is that on Saturday morning, teams of rugby players were staying there, and the line to get an omelette took me twenty minutes. However, Sunday morning, there was no line at all.
Parking is free and easy. We also used the pool. It was a cold weekend, and even though the pool was heated, it was too cool for me and my son, so just my husband went in.
Overall, great hotel, and would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel is "okay"...but definitely better options in Charlotte. As a matter of fact, I would have preferred the Residence Inn next door...had I known what the rooms are like here.

I stayed one night for business and in Room 311 (first floor). The lobby area was ok, but there was a very "musty" smell in the room. It was VERY noticeable. I was dead tired, so I did not complain....but as I laid down the heater would make very loud noises when it shut down from it's heating cycle. My guess was that the HVAC unit was bad and leaked on the carpet...creating the moldy/musty smell.

Had a meeting at the hotel the next day and the large meeting room was ok...but you could hear everything going on in the meeting room next to us. Would not recommend for a meeting in one of their meeting rooms...and would definitely ask about the smell issue if you book. My peer who was also travelling said his room smelled bad.

I would explore other properties in the Charlotte area...as Marriott definitely has better options there.

We stayed in this hotel for one night on our way home from WDW. I am VERY glad that we only stayed for one night! The hotel looked as if it could have great potential to be a nice hotel, but it was really lacking. The back door to the outside patio did not lock (the locks were broken), there were LOTS of cobwebs in the corners around the ceiling, and HUGE water bugs in the bathtub!!
The pool and hottub were kinda gross too....
I am REALLY glad that we got a pretty good price via Priceline because I would NEVER pay what they were asking on their website for the rooms!
