I would just like to comment on how helpful staff members are at this hotel. I arrived worn out and distressed after flying around Hurricane Sandy and the kindness of the staff really made everything okay again. One staff member Augustin Felix went considerably out of her way to make sure I was taken care of and I will be eternally grateful.

we hold our annual conference at this hotel, it's our third year and now we know most of the staff by name and they know us, from the front desk, to the banquet staff to the techs, we are never left to fend for ourselves. Our participants love the hotel, great bar, especially the one downstairs near the pool. Because we do this by contract we have been able to get complimentary wifi with the conference package. Although we'll look at other hotels for this annual event, this hotel and it's staff will be the standard by which we'll judge the competition.

Rooms were not clean. Under the cushion of the chair in my room was a feminine pad wrapper and peanuts. Disgusting.
On the throw blanket on the bed was a large seaman stain in it. APPALLING!!
Birch was the worst experience ever not only did we not have a consistent server but our four top table oh order salads and ahi tuna it took 30 minutes for our food which we could not eat because we were then late for oh conference in the same building .
If my regional conference is here again I will NOT be attending and I know a few others that would absolutely agree with me.

This a super nice hotel...we were there for a corporate event. They went out of their way to help every time we needed something. The entire staff showed true southern hospitality while we were there. A great all around stay.
