We arrived at the front of the hotel, and were greeted by a very friendly staff member who offerd us the choice of self-park or valet parking. We chose the valet parking ($18.00 per day, but well worth it). Our view wasn't what we expected ( a parking garage) but by looking to one side, we saw trees all lit up with Chritsmas lights, and a good view of downtown Charlotte.
We had a problem figuring out the heat, and called to the front desk. The phone was answered by a very polite woman, who sent an engineer to our room in about 5 minutes, and it was around 10 p.m. Anytime we called down, for whatever reason, we were always treated very well by the staff. The breakfast buffet is a little expensive, but offers pastries, bacon, muffins, fresh fruit...all in all, really good. Juice and coffee are extra, so are the pancakes and waffles, but again we went back for more food, and really enjoyed the variety. Stay away from the $4.00 Fiji water!!!
