Did my research and used trip advisor. I cannot understand the bad complaints, but you cant please everyone I guess.

I booked this hotel via the hotel and spoke with Rob on the front desk. He was extremely polite and helpful and answered all the questions I had. I was working at the training centre, Charlotte Airport for 6 weeks.

The hotel is located well for all types of bars & restaurants, steak, fish, Mexican ( Aztecka is the best) Bojangles KFC etc also local family run restaurant like Tyron restaurant at the back of Bojangles. Good food and prices. Gas stations are aplenty, PC Mart has plenty of beer to choose from and fresh coffee, just ask Raj..... Also the tram to uptown ( no not downtown ) Charlotte is within walking distance 10 min from the hotel. Tram is $3.50 return or $4.50 all day. Takes about 15 minutes from woodlawn.

There is also Walgreens, Wafflehouse is great for coffee to ask for James. TK Max and other good shops too which are handy if you are in the need.

Check in was very quick and staff on the desk 24-7. Always Always happy to help, thanks to Lyn and Rob, Ron and others, very professional staff. Happy to help with all questions night and day and deal with fax or internet help. Night shift staff always happy and have a smile for passengers stuck over night if missed flights with US Airways.

Rooms are big and clean bed mattress is okay, and staff keep the rooms very very clean. Rooms are being redecorated and is still going on and should soon be complete, I was on the 3rd floor and it was very quiet and okay for me. Ice and vending machines at the end of the hallway.

Free wifi in the room easy to connect to even when sat by the pool. TV channels are basic but okay, I was to busy to watch them anyway.

The hotel shuttle is great always always picked me up for free within 5 -10 minutes from calling the hotel, and within the 6 weeks only on 3 occasions did they take longer than 10 minutes, still turning up inside 20 minutes Thanks to Omari, Hosie, James and big thanks to Jeff.

Breakfast was okay but straight forward, the hotel has live entertainment weekends and the bar serves food together with your usual American bottled beers.

During events like Nascar hotel gets busy, and so too for the bar.

Checkout was straight forward too, no problems.

Checkout the rates on Internet and call too just to make sure.

Ill be sure to make use of the Hotel when I have to return to CLT airport.
