I stayed here four days on an impromptu visit to Charlotte. The Hotel is convenient to the airport, the City, the southern suburbs, and highway. The Management was superb and the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and the mattress and bedding were terrific (for a change). The hotel offers smoking and non-smoking rooms, a full breakfast is included in the rate, and I was very satisfied with my experience. This hotel is a great value.

  • Liked — Great value, great service.
  • Disliked — Older room decor.

I think it was a pleasent hotel for the price. Lobby was clean, staff was nice. No issues with the room. Not sure why some people had bad experiances with the particular location. I consider myself pretty picky.

Volunteered to take a bump from Charlotte to Nashville on US Airlines. They put us up in the Quality Inn for the night till our flight left the next morning. The place was nice looking, bedding was superb. There was a huge cockroach in our room (4" long) and there were dirty footprints in our tub. The Continental breakfast was very good and the people working for the hotel were their best assett.

We stayed at this hotel overnight on a driving trip to Florida. It is well located near the I77 in an area with other, mostly more upscale hotels. The rate of $67 was reasonable for a stay of less than 12 hours.

The lobby is nice and the check-in staff pleasant. Unfortunately, the rooms are not so pleasant. We tried three rooms and each had problems. We wanted non smoking but the non smoking room had clearly housed a smoker. Our last room ended up being a smoking room which smelled less smokey that the non-smoking room. Our child was exhausted and refused to move again so we took it. The staff were apologetic about the number of moves we had to make.

The room was spacious with two double beds. There was a microwave and a good sized fridge. Unfortunately the fridge was so noisy we had to unplug it in the middle of the night. The bathroom is large with a nice granite countertop, but most of the shower/tub area needs maintenance and cleaning- loose caulking, mould, generally unpleasant looking. Having looked at three rooms we noticed that the rooms varied in quality-the one we got was the least clean of those we saw.. The internet advertised did not work in either the lobby or the room, which was an inconvenience.

The breakfst was OK. The waffles, orange juice and coffee were surprisingly good.

Overall not a great experience- we felt uncomfortable in the room
but it served its purpose of a short overnight stay.

  • Liked — Coffee and waffles
  • Disliked — Internet didn't work, having to move multiple times to find a suitable room

Booked through United Airlines...First room was missing dead bolt, there was new carpet, but it needed to be vacuumed, bathroom mirror had toothpaste spatters, bathroom floor was nasty, there was mold in shower, moved to another room which was just as bad, but did have a deadbolt. On return trip the room was even worse, the pillows are stained and flat, holes in bathroom wall, paint splatters on floor, unclean all over, microwave was placed where you could not plug it in, the entire bottom of microwave, was saturated in grease, if it had been turned on it surely would have caused a fire. I notified the chain headquarters on our return home, and the hotel directly. Headquarters, has no interest in the complaints, and said to follow up with the hotel. I had complained nicely at the hotel at check out, and followed up with an email. Carlo Yuen(assistant manager) called me and agreed to refund the charges, it took forever to get our credit, and it was for ONE night ONLY. So he was NOT truthful. They also sent a letter for a FREE night, there is no way we would ever return to such an inferior establishment. BE FOREWARNED!!

  • Liked — CLOSE TO AIRPORT
  • Disliked — NASTY, DIRTY, UNCLEAN AND NOT CHEAP!!!!!!!!!
