We stayed 2 nights on our way through before visiting family in GA. The price was right (under $100/night), hotel is situated next to a freeway so easy access and the 2 room suites are very comfortable, roomy, and well equipped. The large digital tvs were a nice feature. We had a little trouble turning the shower off and on, and the maids didn't replace all the used towels or toiletries each day. We gave up on the hot breakfast the first morning, a Sunday, because there was a convention in the hotel and a line of people that would have taken at least 30 minutes to get through. We went out to eat. We did partake of the manager's "party" in the afternoon with free drinks and nachos. The 2nd morning, a Monday, we were able to enjoy their "made to order" omelets and breakfast bar. Good selection and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The lobby and atrium with waterfall and exotic plants are very restful and attractive. We checked out the hotel restaurant but it seemed extremely spendy so we ate dinner out in town.
The parking lot has a quirky setup with entrance and exits, but it seemed safe and well lit.
On our way back through town before our flight home we wanted to spend one more night at this hotel but because it was the start of "Spring Break" week, they jacked the prices way up so we stayed elsewhere.
We would stay there again when in Charlotte, if the price was again under or close to $100.
