Embassy Suites are my favorite hotels but this one was below standards for E.S. First the good. Nice rooms. Clean. Nice indoor pool and gym. Free parking. Room was only $94 a night b4 taxes. Now the bad. The parking lot is blocked off cordoned off for some reason with gate access coming and going. Annoying. Seemed to be only 3 luggage carts in the whole hotel. One was stuck on a broken elevator when we checked out. Nightly managers soirree was below standards for E.S. Line for drinks was long. You mean we can't pour a soda by ourselves? We're allowed to during breakfast. No one cleaned up spilled dorito chips laying all over the one little table they had for finger food. Breakfast the first morning was inadequate for the number of people staying. Food ran out pretty quickly. Second day was better because the occupancy dropped. My in-room internet service was a mess. It kept dropping so I had to get a refund. Management needs to get this place together. I'd only recommend it if the price is below $100 a night.

Driving to FLorida on vacation and we stayed here overnight to sleep and recharge for the drive down to Florida.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were nice and comfortable

Breakfeast was a big plus and enjoyable

Will stay again next year on our trip back to Florida

Very nice, comfortable hotel. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Granite counter tops and hardwood floor between the living room and bedroom made it feel nice and homey. It was like being in a little apartment instead of a hotel room.

Breakfast was good except Sunday they shut down the buffet an hour before breakfast was supposed to be over and anyone who came down after that had to stand in the "made to order" line if they wanted hot breakfast. The line got quite long and moved slowly and people were getting annoyed.

My only complaint would be the interent service. We brought our laptop with us to Charlotte but after we followed the directions to get online with the hotels internet...we found out it cost $10 dollars a day. Not expensive but c'mon...they can't offer free wi-fi?
All in all not a big deal though.

Came to Charlotte for an overnight stay on business. Hotel is very attractive inside, check-in was simple, room was clean and well kept. Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet and the property was centrally located on the south side of town.
Nice Managers welcome reception with breakfast flow and food taste being good.
I would reccomend this property for business travel. I like Embassy Suites overall, but find them rather generic for pleasure travel.
