We stayed at this hotel in Charlotte b/c our connecting flight from Charlotte to Dayton was cancelled (due to bad weather). I called the hotel directly (with help from my brother in law) & they were SO helpful & understanding.

The airline gave us NOTHING b/c of the delay & we had to pay for the stay out of our own pocket. The hotel gave us the AAA rate ... very nice. We appreciated it! The airport shuttle the next morning was great too. We were only there for about 9 hours, but it was much better than the airport floor!

The hotel is more of a motel (entry to the rooms are on the outside), but for $64 a night, it was a STEAL!:)

“Too Close to the Interstate”

I booked this 'hotel' because we were flying out of the Charlotte-Douglas Airport very early and we live about 1.5 hours away.

This is actually a motel - where you drive right up to your door. The room itself was fine - nothing fancy but clean. Your typical interstate motel. I was a little concerned because the hotel registration lobby required that you ring a doorbell and be 'buzzed' in and out. Evidently, there are some security concerns here.

My only real complain is the motel is located right next to I-85. The noise from the 18 wheelers zooming by all night was deafening. We had to leave the TV on all night just to dull the highway noise. Because of this, I would not recommend this motel to a friend.

“Think twice before leaving your car”

The hotel was nice enough, the people working there friendly. We stayed one night, left our car for 10 days, and came back to stay another night before driving home. You are able to leave your car there for free if you spend a night, but I would think twice about doing it again, because some of our gas was siphoned out while we were gone. The front desk was apologetic and said they would have the lot monitored more closely. The only other complaint we had was finding clothing left behind by the previous renter on the hook on the back of the bathroom door.

Dirty & Smelly! The "cleaning" in the bathroom was non-existent! I guess housekeeping sprayed some cleaner or something on the floor and I darn near broke my neck when I walked into the bathroom. They were doing some renovation work at the time, and I hope this was just a bad time to visit and the hotel is not always like this. The only good thing about this hotel was the hi-speed internet in the room and the excellent location to the airport.

The rooms are very clean and attractive. Conviently located near airport with a 24-hour shuttle to the airport.
The staff was friendly and went out of ther way to make my stay a pleasureable one. I would stay here again.
