A restaurant that did not feel like a chain restaurant. The decor was classy and it made our evening out a fun night. Pretty typical of the big steakhouses, M & S served up a good steak and a nice piece of swordfish. My wife was not thrilled with her New York Strip steak and I had to agree. But my fish was excellent. The clam chowder was very good- and my wife is a connoisseur of the chowders. A+ Service was typical of this breed but nothing to brag about. The competition among the up-scale steakhouses is fierce but M & S rated high on our list. I'd give the evening a B+.
