This was by far the best Four Points I have stayed in. It had clearly been recently upgraded as the decor was spotless and the carpets were nice and plush throughout. Our king room was actually a small suite, with the living area fully separated from the bedroom/bathroom. Judging by the fire escape map, most all rooms were of this size. We even used the small kitchenette, as we had leftovers both nights of our stay. The bed was quite comfortable, and the TVs were new flat-panel LGs. We only used the staff for check-in and check-out, but in both instances they were very accomodating.
The only downside for the hotel was the air conditioning unit in our room - even with the fan on low, it wouldn't stay on consistently, and every time it turned on, it sounded like a space shuttle taking off. Thankfully, we were tired enough that we slept right through it.
We paid with Starwood points, and I would certainly stay here again given the difference in points between this hotel and the flagship Sheratons in town. Yes, you're about 5 miles from downtown, but the light rail station is 2 blocks away is you don't have a car. Overall, a pleasant surprise for a hotel brand that typically doesn't live up to Starwood expectations.
