The Bojangles on East Trade is one of thousands located throughout the country - why is it even rated? Perhaps because this fast food chain started in Charlotte. The original location, at the intersection of South Tryon and West Boulevard, was torn down and replaced with a new store years ago. Bojangles' employees are all too often poorly-trained and unprofessional, and the stores' tables can be occasionally dirty and poorly tended. No comment on the other public facilities at the stores I've visited. The drive-thru takeout is probably the best choice. Bojangles is best for its breakfast menu. They bake and serve the breakfast biscuits all day, and if you catch them at the right time, the 99 cent bacon, sausage or steak biscuit is a great value - one of the cheapest and tastiest filling meals available. Just don't tell your cardiologist.
