Stayed here during Coca-Cola 600 week. Room was nice, although TV was situated too close to the bed and made it difficult to get in on that side. Wireless internet was reliable and fast. Laundry facilities were pathetic. Entire 2nd floor was being renovated and laundry was being used as a storage area for lumber, drywall, etc. 4th floor laundry was dirty. We went out and bought some clothing necessities. Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens all close by along with many fast food options. 5 minutes from Charlotte Airport. Extremely friendly and inviting staff. Manager quick to address air conditioning issue and was resolved post haste. Courtesy driver available 24/7 if not on an airport run to cart you off to stores or restaurants close by. Hot breakfast every morning included waffles, scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. Quiet area just 5 miles from Billy Graham Library and 10-12 minutes from downtown Charlotte just off I-85 at Billy Graham Parkway. Would stay here again.

Staff was bored, room was dirty and falling apart. The furniture looks like it's been there since the 70's. Some knobs and handles missing from the furniture. I stayed in a non-smoking room that had obviously been a smoking room. My collegue was sick from the smoke smell in her non-smoking room. I will never stay here again and I'm afraid to stay at any other Comfort Inn anywhere else.

Someone made arrangements for me to stay here pre and post for a tour. Security is definitely an issue. When I walked in, I had to pass several unsavory characters. The next morning, a lady told us that her car had been broken into during the night. I did see the police taking a report.

In addition, a woman had been beaten up by a man out on the parking lot during the night. The hotel itself had nice, clean rooms and a decent breakfast. However, if you read the other reviews, this is not a safe area. They have security cameras at the desk, but it apparently does not help.

It's a shame because they have a very nice staff.

Comfort Suites near Charlotte, NC airport has a "stay, park, and fly" package. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-lit, with sofa, refrigerator, microwave, and small dining table. A good place to relax the night before a long flight. The shuttle van to and from the airport was timely, and our car stayed safe in the hotel parking lot. We'll be back.
