Comfort Suites near Charlotte, NC airport has a "stay, park, and fly" package. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-lit, with sofa, refrigerator, microwave, and small dining table. A good place to relax the night before a long flight. The shuttle van to and from the airport was timely, and our car stayed safe in the hotel parking lot. We'll be back.

Found this hotel searching on the web and many reviews were fine. The hotel was okay- nothing stellar- but we used the "park & Fly" option--- and our car lock was hit with a chisel-- damaging the door and lock mechanism. If you are going to park-- go somewhere else with more lighting/traffic/ or better (some!) security! There are two hotels here in the immediate vicinity- the other is the cheap park n fly of "royal Inn" or such....
Won't stay here again... $99 rate didn't buy much but a $400 repair bill!!! Inlaws stayed at holiday inn airport for park n fly in feb with no problems...we will try that next time...
Airport shuttle will almost leave without you, also-- they won't look for you-- (even standing in lobby with lots of bags!) you need to grab them!!! (strange!!)

Stayed here 5-6 times in past two years due to location to Charlotte, NC airport. Each time this hotel slides more to the bottom of the scale, problem with rooms (items broken, missing, etc), is old, and dingy, lack luster service, less than average brealfast and noisy as near Interstate. We'll pass on any future stays until Comfort Inns takes the initiiative to upgrade this hotel.

I agree with the other review- this place was a dump! We booked this hotel through Orbitz while looking for a hotel near the airport to catch an early morning flight to the Caribbean. Orbitz rated it 3 stars, but do not be fooled it is not 3 stars! I will never book with Orbitz again because their info was misleading. Fork up the extra money and stay someplace that is clean.

To start off, the person checking us in was more interested in talking to her boyfriend who was hanging out at the front desk. When we got to our room, the room number had been ripped off the wall for the room we were staying in. Basically the rooms were old and disgusting. The wall paper was peeling off the wall, and there were holes in the wall among many other problems. The bed consisted of an extremely old mattress and was uncomfortable. We almost left, but it was so late when we arrived and having never been to Charlotte before, we didn't know where any other hotels were.

Also, the mapquest directions for this hotel are incorrect. They take you to an abandoned road that has been closed.
