“great small venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

hidden on the north side of uptown is the mc music factory.. a group of restaurants and bars along with indoor and outdoor concert venues.... the restaurants are varied but the concert venues are nice cozy with good acoustics..makes for a easy night on the town for your favorite group.

“Fabulous Concert Venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

I would heartily recommend attending a concert here. The amphitheatre is small enough to maintain intimacy, and the adjoining selection of bars, restaurants and clubs make it worth coming early and spending some time. It is easy to move in and out of the amphitheatre area and buy concessions in between sets. Prices for food and drink were high, as expected for a concert venue, but the venue's cleanliness, atmosphere and friendly staff made one feel like their money wasn't wasted. The restrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen in a concert venue.

“Great place for a comedy show”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

I had the pleasure of coming here when comedian Arnez J was in town for a few shows. The food was great and I liked how everyone had good seats. The only thing is that they need more parking especially for shows.

“There for the Black Crowes and Tedeschi Trucks Band show.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

I travel to and attend on average of about 30 or more concerts/shows a year. I enjoyed the smaller venue atmosphere of the Uptown Ampitheatre located at the NC Music Factory very much!! The show that I attended had really good sound quality for a smaller venue. There are plenty of food and snack vendors. And the show staff was both friendly and helpful. I loved that parking was free. I only wish that there was a roof over the seats as it rained the whole time during the show and at one point we had to be evacuated due to lightning in the area. But overall, I would recommend this venue for a concert/show.

“Great music venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

We went to the NC Music Factory after moving to Charlotte and noticing the billboards advertising the Friday night music shows. We saw Cowboy Mouth on one Friday and Cracker on another. Both bands played well and were entertaining, even though the Cracker show was shortened due to rain. The atmosphere was fun and the crowds were involved and enjoyed the music. We plan to go back for more great shows.
