Stopped here while in uptown to grab a beer and some food before a concert. They advertised old fashioned and great service and food. The food was great - I had the Roast Beef Panini. Beer selection was okay but they only had one IPA that was available, on tap or bottled. However, I found the service to be less than great. If you were a regular and came often, you got immedaite and great service. For first timers (like me) that were not recognized, the service was not great at all. Having worked in a bar, I know that nothing irritates a bar tender more than people shouting orders at them or saying "hey buddy, get me a beer." Most bartenders work on a first come first serve basis or strive to do so. As I was sitting there at the bar, there were several instances of people directly behind or beside me getting their drinks before I was even asked. The bar tender knew them and brought them their "usual" or high fived them and asked what they wanted. Food was great, beer was good, service needs attention unless you want to become a regular.
