I recently stayed at the Springhill Suites for a concert at the Verizon Wireless Theatre. The hotel was nice and very comfortable. There was a bar area in the room with a frig, microwave, and sink. The living area had a couch that pulled out to a bed. I would recommend this hotel.

Found this to be clean, neat with good facilities for business travel. For one person, the 'sitting area/dining' plus bed area is fine - free internet helps. The included breakfast was fine - not fancy, but reasonable fare. Staff was very gracious and helpful - even with some 11pm business requests. Very easy to get to off of the highway - about 20-30 minutes from the airport (cany vary a lot due to traffic). Microwave and fridge are very helpful for late arrivals - they do have some foodstuffs for purchase 24x7 ... not elegant, but works in a pinch.

I stayed here for one night before I went to a concert. I was with my boyfriend and best friend. The furniture in our "suite" was awkwardly arranged...definitely didn't ideally use the space. There was basically an out-dated over sized TV in the walkway. The bed was very close to the closet. It would've definitely been difficult to maneuver a working suitcase through the area. Our breakfast the next morning was pretty basic...not very good at all, especially the eggs were gross. They were like tough spheres of egg-like foam. The front desk was very helpful. They went out of their way twice to print directions to two places for me. However, they were not very warm and friendly. When I called down to the desk to arrange for a wake up call, the woman who picked up was very short with me. All in all, this place was okay, but not one of the better Marriot hotels I've stayed in.

This hotel was an excellent choice for the price. It was clean, the service was friendly, and within 5 miles of Lowe's Motor Speedway. Romano's Macaroni Grill was just outside the front door and there were other restaurants within a short drive. The room was small for 3 adults, but we didn't come to Charlotte to spend all our time in the room. The only downside to the weekend was the rain. :-( We all enjoyed our stay.
