We have traveled and traveled all over the world and back , and i was sort of looking for something different which led me to carowinds amusement park. so while we were there(which was excellent by the way) we decided to book reservations at the staybridge suites. Once we arrived to the destination , i was kinda expecting it to be okay , because the prices were rather low , compared to what we normally would pay for a nice resort /condo/villa average of 350 per night normally , well the price was amazingly great, and once we arrived it was very beautiful , the entire surroundings of staybridge were very nice. Check in was a breeze with no problems. They offered us huge soft chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. Once we got up to our room , (well before that) we viewed the entire place as we were going up to our room and everything seemed very clean , well kept , and up to date, so as we entered our room , i realized my name was already on certain items , which i was impressed , they had beverages awaiting me and my family , they had different treats throughout the entire place to welcome us , and a nice goodie bag on the table most places dont do that unlessby request, so i thought that was very considerate of them to do that.we had a 2bedroom suite, living room , side den, kitchen, 2 baths, so it was enough room for the four of us. we dazzled in the pool /jacuzzi for a while , to relax from a long day at the park. the breakfast the following morning was okay, nothing too special , we ended up eating elsewhere , because it just wasnt up to our taste, we are southern folks and needed some well seasoning on our foods , but other than that i have no complaints at all about staybridge , i am a priority club member and will definately be staying here again in the future , real soon for another tri-p back to carowinds park for scarowinds.i recommend any one to stay at this hotel , its not far from attractions at all , only an exit or two up the road . hope this review helped someone else.

I have stayed at Staybridge Ballantyne every month for the past several years. I am continually impressed by the consistency and level of service and accomodations. This weekend I was back and sure enough they had upgraded the rooms themselves - Flat panel TV's, granite countertops, and new furniture. Once again a great experience.

This is my second time at this hotel in six months. My first visit was better, but I would go again. My room was reserved on a coworker's credit card, but the hotel clerk didn't know how to transfer the charge from that card to my own. My room was right outside the elevator, so there was noisy traffic all day and night right outside my door. Also, the lobby sometimes has events that I could hear on the 2nd floor. Both times I stayed, the television were postioned awkwardly in the room. It's always at the foot of the bed, but to the left or right. The curtains in the room are a cream color and are transparent at night. The Internet service is free, but my computer has never had a slower connection than at this hotel. But I must say that I've stayed at hotels far worse than this. There are small things that get on my nerves, but I would do business here again.

This was the latest of several business stays I've made at this property. I've always enjoyed my experience, but every time the folks at Staybridge try to make it a little better! From the well-prepared welcome, to the chocolate chip cookies at the desk, to the personalized snack bag awaiting me in my room, to the clean and comfortable facilities, to the well-equipped business center (which I had to use a lot on this trip!), to the very good free breakfast, I have absolutely no complaints. After staying at some very expensive hotels recently where every little thing was nickeled and dimed, it is refreshing to stay at a property where they really believe that the customer comes first! Highly recommended for any visit to the Ballantyne area of Charlotte.
