Stay was fine, very good breakfast, friendly staff. Very difficult to find motel in the dark and rain. Lot's of traffic and not easily seen from road.

“Surprisingly nice for a cheap hotel!”

I have stayed at a Microtel before and it was a horrible experience. Not so with this Microtel! While certainly not a luxury hotel, it is so much nicer than I expected! The room was clean and comfortable. Great black out curtains and comfy beds. And quiet! The front desk staff, when we checked in, was nice though the night staff was a bit rude when we had a question later that evening. It even has a fitness center! Fridge/microwave in the room. Easy to get downtown. Overall, a truly great value, worth every penny. If you just need a place to stay with no frills, this is it.
