Our first stay is one of many as we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was the most friendly and efficient team I have encountered amongst the many hotels we have stayed in. We traveled with a three year old, two young adults and two adults. The two bedroom suite was well equipped and spacious. The food was yummy...cudos to the baker of the scones! The evening "welcome home reception" was a nice bonus. I had the opportunity to do laundry and the housekeeper was in there wiping down the equipment...how impressive is that. Great job!!

This is my preferred hotel when traveling to Charlotte on business during the week. It is always clean and quiet. The hotel staff is fantastic. It includes a complimentary hot breakfast to get me going in the morning and in the evening we are welcomed back with a complimentary light meal. Coffee/Tea bar available 24/7. The suite is like a home away from home. The beds are so comfortable with lots of pillows. The vanity area is spacious. Large closet. Icemaker in the refrigerator. Data ports and free internet included. Newspaper delivered to your door in the morning. I could go on and on.

First time in Charlotte, and we were seeing a concert at the Verizon Center. The venue seems to be only 3 miles down the road, but takes forever to get there!! Traffic. Our suite was on the back part of the property facing a lake. Really pretty spot. Hotel was clean and upkeep was good. But...I think it's time for a remodel. We found a rib spot called Shane's Rib Shack and enjoyed the ribs! Across from the hotel is a Hampton Inn and on the next block, a Hilton.
We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but liked the inviting look of the entry-way.

I stayed here two weeks for business and have no complaints. I saved a lot of money because of the free breakfast everyday and M-T they have free dinner. There shuttle will take you to the airport every 30 min or the light rail train station if you want to sight-see in Uptown Charlotte. The staff is very friendly and my maid did a good job cleaning my room. There are DVD players in most rooms and they have a small section of movies you can check out at the front desk and there's popcorn in your room. They also have umbrellas to borrow if it's raining. Although I never did any cooking, the rooms have full kitchens with dishwashers, full refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, sink with disposer, pots and pans, cups, rice maker, silverware, and paper towels. They have free wireless internet, a nice work out room, with brand new equipment (just installed yesterday), they have a putting green, and nice pool that is shaded most of the day, a nice patio, a grill. Oh, and I recommend eating at Jack & Jill's down the road and trying their Cashew chicken!! I would stay here again next time I'm in Charlotte for business or pleasure.
