I stayed here two weeks for business and have no complaints. I saved a lot of money because of the free breakfast everyday and M-T they have free dinner. There shuttle will take you to the airport every 30 min or the light rail train station if you want to sight-see in Uptown Charlotte. The staff is very friendly and my maid did a good job cleaning my room. There are DVD players in most rooms and they have a small section of movies you can check out at the front desk and there's popcorn in your room. They also have umbrellas to borrow if it's raining. Although I never did any cooking, the rooms have full kitchens with dishwashers, full refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, sink with disposer, pots and pans, cups, rice maker, silverware, and paper towels. They have free wireless internet, a nice work out room, with brand new equipment (just installed yesterday), they have a putting green, and nice pool that is shaded most of the day, a nice patio, a grill. Oh, and I recommend eating at Jack & Jill's down the road and trying their Cashew chicken!! I would stay here again next time I'm in Charlotte for business or pleasure.

The hotel is nicely maintained. Our 2 room, king suite was well furnished with lots of towels, free high speed internet and the mattress was very nice. Breakfast was good with a wide selection, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, fruit, etc. The only drawback was airplane noise but it is an airport hotel.

Some co -workers and I stayed here for a weekend class. The rooms were great! Clean and comfy! Everything we could have asked for in a home away from home. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable I have slept in - as far as a chain hotel goes. The maid even left me and extra bottle of shampoo - even though I could have used what was left in the old bottle. The fan in the bedroom was a big plus. I always sleep with fan on at home - so this made it just right!

Breakfast was very good both morning. The only complaint was tht on sat morning - I guess they were running a little late. So we didn't get to enjoy the full breakfast - due to our class being at 8:00. There really wasn't a lot of choices - if you wanted to run out and grab something to eat near the hotel. But we made do.... They did have a little shop - in case you had a sweet tooth or forgot some things. I ended up heading down there for some GOODY powders and some tums. Big plus to have that there...

The only advice I have is - ask for a room that is not facing the airport. ( Not facing the pool if you are on the right side. ) I heard airplanes all night long. ( Yes - I am a light sleeper!! ) But my co-workers who were on the other side of the hall - couldn't hear them. Just a little advice.

Other than that - we couldn't have asked for a nice place!

I have stayed in this hotel before and everything is usually excellent and I have always enjoyed my stays. The staff has always been wonderful and friendly and very efficient and they were this time as well. The only problem I had this time was after I climbed into bed and tried to fall asleep I began to cough and cough and cough all night long and found that I must have been allergic to the pillows or the comforter in the bed. The coughing would stop as soon as I got up from the bed and moved to the other room. So perhaps they have changed the comforters to feather or down? If you have allergies, maybe you need to request foam pillows? Otherwise, the hotel is very nice. The shuttle service to the airport is great and they even took me at a time when the shuttle was not normally scheduled.
