Booked the room for a special night ... Romantic get away. The Hotel was very clean and well kept. Room Service was very efficient and prompt. Staff was very helpful and curtious. Slightly confussing parking situation....but was overcome! Along with the other reviews... we found that noise from other guests in the hall can be irritating.... during our stay, one guest constantly knocked on the door across the hall for atleast 10 minutes before stopping... also... the noise from the "night-life" was a bit loud... although, not a problem, it only lasted till 10:30 or 11:00 pm. Overall.... our stay at the Omni, Charlotte, NC was a great stay... Will definately re-visit!!

I had the opportunity to go to Charlotte for a business meeting and chose the hotel based on its location and very positive experiences with the Omni brand, It was a very good choice.

For business meetings wtih the top Charlotte companies, this is an ideal place. it is within walking distance to the headquarters of Bank of America, Wachovia, etc, as well as good proximity to restaurants and the downtown arena. From what I recall, the NFL Panthers stadium also was close (but probably not by walking).

The Omni service level I"ve experienced at all locations has been excellent, and Charlotte was no exception. The restaurant at the Hotel was good for my collegue and myself following a late night flight. The Business Center met my needs. My only real concern was that my room had an "older" feel to it, but was good and clean.

Hint for here and all Omni: Join their "Select Preferred" club....I may have their exact name wrong, but it's their Frequent Guest club, which provides free in-room coffee service, express check-in, and free internet access. At no costs, and chances to build free stays, it's one of the best such programs.

My husband and I are from the west coast. We were visiting Charlotte and stayed one night at this hotel. We enjoyed the location and that we could walk around town to restaurants and shops. We had a nice meal a couple blocks away at Ratcliffe on the Green. Our room overlooked the pool and the blackout shades kept the early morning sun out of our eyes. The bed was comfy and the size of the room worked well for us. The bathroom was fine, though the tub was a bit small. Our biggest complaint was that the Starbucks in the lobby was closed on Saturday (apparently they are open during the work week only?) Lucky for us there was another one a few blocks away. The front desk was helpful with a map and some suggestions. The self park wasn't too bad either at $8. We would stay there again.

We had a small wedding and a one night honeymoon.. and decided just to stay in Charlotte. Our friend got us a great discount! When we got there they had roses and champagne and strawberries set out for us! It was very romantic!
The room service was great and it was a great location!! Very Clean!
