“Paid for King got a double instead”

i booked a king room with city view. When we checked in, they gave all the king rooms away even though we already paid for the room in advance. we got stuck with two double beds and i literally almost fell out of it twice. the maid service came into our room 3 times even though i put the pricay door hanger thing on the door. the front desk also randomly called us twice in the morning and woke us up each time. its in a good location. no free shuttle service a bud light was $6. i did like how the room was spacious. i would check in before 5 if possible or the room you paid for most likely will be given to someone else. the manager tried to say the room type wasnt available and when i pulled up the hotel website on my laptop it said the king room and a suite were available and they said the website had an error. thats a pretty big error when other people could be booking those and arriving thinking they are getting a large suite and get stuck with a double bed. ill prob try the ritz next time instead.

Booked the Omni this past Friday night through Priceline. Very nice property, upscale, lovely guest rooms with nice comfy bed and plenty of fluffy comforters and pillows. Excellent shower, convenient downtown location. Attached to the Epicenter where there is a CVS pharmacy, bowling alley, small movie theater, and several restaurants. Cost us $10 to park in the attached parking garage. Overall very satisfied!

Room Tip: Might want a higher floor, there is some street noise downtown (but nothing like NYC!)

They treated me like royalty. I planned a low key bachelorette weekend and the location was perfect downtown within walking distance to bars/restaurants! The staff was fantastic and we spent the days at the rooftop pool. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms and Lobby were 4 stars!

I was trapped in this hotel's parking deck for 80 minutes following an event that had perhaps 300 people. When I called the front desk from the garage to ask for help all I got was "we don't own the deck, it's not our problem." Advising them when they invite people to their hotel for a function they better take responsibility for the entire experience. How about sending someone down to see what the issue is and help fix it. No good. Upper management only blamed everyone but themselves and offered no scintilla of customer service. Lucky I was local and not heading to a meeting or the airport. Do not park in this OMNI parking deck... and beware the poor customer service from 3 levels of management at the OMNI Charlotte

Stayed one night for a meeting. Requested early checkin, but they were unable to deliver because hotel was supposedly full for a convention the night before. Good location, connected to retail and food courts. Free Starbucks in lobby. They have towncar service in motor lobby which is same price as taxi and is convenient. Room was small with brown/beige decor that needs updating or brighter solid colors IMO. At checkin, they didn't tell me that you have to use your room key to work the elevator between 11pm and 7am, so I wasn't going anywhere until the deskman came over to the elevator to straighten me out. I think I'll try a different hotel next time in Charlotte.

The hotel is close to the stadium, the arena and the convention center. There are lots of food and entertainment options within a very short walk. The bathrooms are very small, but there is lots of water pressure in the shower (so much that it almost hurts). Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. The maid halfway made up our room one day, replaced towels, but did not make up beds or leave coffee. Lots of good free starbucks coffee in the lobby! Would stay again! Hotel staff wants to make guest happy and comfortable!

Overall, very nice hotel. Stayed there for a football game. Go Pack!. Very close to the stadium. Close to a lot of bars beside the hotel. Very clean and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Bathroom was small but- didn't care about that. They do have a larger sink area though. Front desk was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
