Easy check-in and parking. Nice stay. My room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in one of the King whirlpool rooms.

I could do commercials for Hampton Inn. They have everything. This location is perfect for both business and pleasure travelers because it is right in the middle of downtown. Additionally, they provide free shuttle service for a 2 mile radius.

My husband and I are on an extended road trip and have stayed at a few of Hampton Inn's competitors. Due to competition, most of the competitors have similar facilities and amenities, but Hampton Inn takes it up a notch. Especially love the duvet and comfortable mattresses and assorted pillows.

The icing on the cake is the free breakfast and free dinner. Both are more than sufficient to make a real meal.

They even have a free washer/dryer for guest use. The only difference between this and a full-price hotel is room service.

You can't go wrong with Hampton Inn.

The front desk was very helpful, including the shuttle service. "Z" at the front desk helped solve a few travel problems I had. The breakfast was good as were the fruit, cookies, water and coffee provided through the day/evening. The room was pretty good given the price. I did get a little TV sound noise from an adjoining room, but everyone was up late watching the election anyway. Great bed, with comfy sheets and pillows. Free high speed wireless. It was 10-15 min cab ride from the airport.

The Hampton Inn Uptown Charlotte offers really great service. Front desk is gracious, pleasant shuttle driver and a nicer than usual breakfast for Hampton. On the downside housekeeping needs to pay more attention to details when cleaning. Exhaust fan in bathroom was extremely caked with filth and what were suppose to be clean towels had hair on them. Overall the hotel served its purpose but they need to do something about housekeeping. Towels should be replaced after each guest even if they don't appear to be used.
