We stayed here for one night in July 2008. This hotel was amazing. The rooms were large and very clean. I am very particular when it comes to cleanliness. We got a senior's 60+ rate of $79.96. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The foyer, lounge & eating area was decorated just beautifully. The free hot breakfast was more than we expected. What a variety there was to chose from. We would definitley stay here again. Lots of places to eat within walking distance.

Other than dealing with the carpet being replaced in the hallway, the stay was nice.

I would have given the hotel a 5 rating except that the first night we were there the room smelled a little damp when the air conditioner was on. We were here for 4 nights during race weekend. The hotel was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff friendly. The rooms aren't large but they are adequate. They had a Manager's reception during the week. The hotel is close to interstate but not so close as to hear the traffic noise. There is a Bob Evans and a Mexican Restaurant within walking distance as well as a Subway and Quiznos. There is some sort of restaurant next door but we didn't go there so I can't tell you anything about it. The hotel had a bunch of pamphlets laid out for the race fan with things to do in the area. This hotel isn't really close to any attractions but is convenient to Interstate which was important to us.

I booked this hotel because it was close to the interstate. My husband and I were on our way home from Florida, and Charlotte is about halfway between Jacksonville and Columbus, Ohio. The room is designed for business travelers with a wall between the bedroom and the "miscellaneous" room, which had a sink, microwave, small fridge, sofa, and a table that could double as a desk. The TV swivels so it can be seen from either the bed or the sofa. The bedroom is small but has a large dressing area. The bed was comfortable. The miscellaneous room is rather dark. Both my husband and I thought breakfast was above average in quality and variety. PS: no bedbugs or bugs of any kind!
