My fiance and I stayed here for one night and we can't say enough about it. We thoroughly enjoyed and took advantage of the complimentary happy hour and food with wine, beer, a taco salad bar, cookies, coffee, etc which ended up being our dinner. The full American breakfast was also great. I used the business center a couple times with no problems. Rooms and common areas were very clean and updated. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly while we were there AND to top it all off, when I got home I realized I'd left my cell phone charger there, and they happily mailed it to me. Wonderful.

My family and I choose this hotel due to the good reviews and after my experience it was only fair that I do the same. We checked in early afternoon on July 24, 2009 and proceeded to go the Carowinds for a day of fun and upon our return we noticed that our driver side window and been broken and it was apparent that we was ROBBED. We immediately ran inside to let the staff know of the situation and was directed to the security guard on duty (who was useless). The local police was contacted and we was advised the they don't come out for vehicle break and once we gave our information a police report will be emailed to us within a couple of days.

Comfortable, roomy accommodations with hi-speed wireless, great breakfast

I was just there from in June 2009 and at first I was sceptical since I usually stay at 4 or 5-Star hotels and really never a Suite. When I read the reviews I was still in doubt but having stayed there I would recommend the place.
The rooms were very clean as well as the kitchen. The entire room, furniture and bed sheets all smelled great - like Febreeze - for my entire stay. There is also a DVD player in the room.

The staff were also very warm, chatty and helpful.

There is also a small customer store which was really great as it offered some healthy, organic foods which were great. There is also a complimentary breakfast which was really good and tasty (eggs, bacon, pancakes, fresh fruit etc - you would easily pay $12 - $15 for a similar spread).

There is also a small workout room which was kept very clean. The towels smelled like downy and the facility was comfortable.

Overall - a great stay. Environment very clean; warm staff and great, clean and spacious rooms.

However, note that I did not rent a car. I read a review by a customer that said that his car had been broken into and that it was highly possible that the security was involved. If this is indeed true, I would think twice about staying there - it is just not worth it.
