The room was very large-a wet bar, desk, L-shaped sectional with large foot stool, large flat screen TV. Tub and toilet area was in a separate room , the sink just outside of the "bathroom" door. Dark marble countertops, cherry cabinets, comfortable beds. The breakfast was fantastic with "real" cups, bowls and plates. Wall Street Journal in the AM. The staff was very accommodating. We asked if they could arrange for a little fruit and bagel for us because of our early flight...we were surprised the whole breakfast buffet was set up for us @ 4:45 AM. (Regular hours are from 6:00-9:30 AM). Also there is a business center so you can print out your e-tickets if needed. Used shuttle to airport. Very efficient. Definitely will visit again.

From the second we arived we were greated by front desk staff member "Carol" very friendly and helpful.
The hotel and our rooms were all very clean, Very comfortable, the staff was there to make out stay very enjoyable. the pool , work out room were nery nice.
I would highly recomend this hotel to any one who whats a GREAT Hotel and staff !!!

Came to Charlotte in connection with the DNC. Some NBC-TV on air personnel and staff were here too, along with foreign media. Hotel suite was more than I really needed, since I don't cook. My suite and the hotel in general looked clean. Breakfast was excellent. Front desk people gave me rides to Woodlawn blue-line rail station each morning to catch train to Uptown. Staff was friendly. No complaints, other than the lack of shops and restaurants within walking distance, but this is not a fault of the hotel. Would be glad to stay here again.

I had some reservations about staying at this hotel purely based on TripAdvisor reviews, but upon arrival I was overwhelmingly surprised at how wonderful they made our stay.

First of all, this hotel was well appointed. There was a stove, a mini fridge, a dishwasher and clean dishes ready to use. When we cooked or used the dishes, we didn't even have to wash them. The maid service would put them in the dishwasher during each visit they had so when we got home everything was fresh and ready - I was surprised to see that and so thankful because it meant I didn't have to do it.

The hotel was VERY clean - my son slept in the sofa bed and my husband and I slept in the king size bedroom, and it was completely spotless. It was so nice to have a closed door!

The breakfasts were very good - we were there for four days and the breakfast wasn't the same once. There were some type variety of eggs (omelettes, scrambled, boiled) every morning, as well as a meat (sausage, bacon, ham) and a starch (waffles, potatoes, grits) every morning. There were also the regular options like milk, juices, yogurts, cereals, coffees and teas. My son is four and he would eat really well thanks to the variety.

The pool was nice and not crowded. We visited the pool every day and sometimes we were alone almost the whole time. There's also a grill outside and some nice tables. Some people took their breakfast out there.

The only complaint was that it can get loud - we did have to make a noise complaint to management one evening because some guests had their doors open and were cooking and having a party very late, but management was upstairs within minutes to ask them to quiet it down. It was handled very professionally.

This place is also close to lots of things in Charlotte - it's about 10 minutes away from Adventure Landing, and only 30 minutes away from the Charlotte Speedway. We were able to see lots of things and had plenty of fun.

You would be hard pressed to find a better family friendly, modern hotel at these prices anywhere.
