I had a pre-paid package which covered my stay here at this hotel. Apparently I didn't handle my paperwork correctly on check-in so the hotel went ahead and billed the stay to my credit card. On pointing out the error, the staff's attitude became immediately belligerent. After calling the travel agency and having them fax over "required" documents the hotel has since been stalling me and refusing to remove the charge - and have billed the travel agency as well.

Chad Patel is the owner down there - and he has his staff fully trained to back him up in his deceptive ways.

If you desperately need a place to stay and have no other option, this is the place for you.

We were searching for a reasonably priced room to stay the night and this fit the bill perfectly. The cost was around $81.00 for two adults. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, there was free wireless, a mini fridge and microwave. We will definitely stay here again. The down side is the smoking rooms are on the same floors as the non smoking and the smell can be suffocating in the hall way but the rooms smelled clean.

This Microtel scores 5 stars for an exceptionally clean room. Stay was wonderfully uneventful otherwise.

Makes me wonder who stays here when the Charlotte Police check someone in with trash bags.

Lobby smells bad. Floor in elevator is ripped up.

Filthy chair in the room. Carpet is stained. Toilet dosn't flush.
Broken saftey lock. Roach traps in bathroom. Along with live roaches. Paper thin walls, can hear everthing in the next rooms. Seems to be a party place for young adults. Even in the halls.

They jack up the posted rate for "special" events they can't seem to tell you "what" that event is.

Not safe feeling area.

If you want to feel safe, clean and rested, Stay somewhere else.
