Upon arriving at the Hyatt Place City Park, I was greeted with a wonderful aroma of flowers! I asked at the front desk, and they simply said "We just cleaned!" The rooms were very spacious. Mine was a King room with a sectional sofa, with a wet bar, frig, desk, and an in-room sink with two counters - plenty of room for my suitcase. The bathroom was a bit cozy, but upscale and clean. The white ginger toiletry items were perfect - my absolute favorite! Bed was very comfortable and the perfect distance from the A/C. Plenty of parking in the front. I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Place and appreciated how close I was to my downtown Charlotte appointments. The only thing that was disappointing was their wireless router wasn't working. As a single traveler, I appreciated feeling safe. The complimentary apples in the lobby were also a nice touch. I would clearly stay here again.

As a relatively new property, everything is superbly clean, well appointed, and friendly. The staff is so totally excellent that I can scarcely saw enough good. Myron, in particular, takes a zeal in making sure his guests, the Hyatt guests, are attended to in a charm and manner both professional and with a lovely sense of the South ( I realize he is from Chicago). His spirit is infectious and carries over at all levels. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again - plane traffic noise was not an issue, there was minimal notice of same.

This hotel was wonderful - we spent one night on the way back from Charleston. Had previously stayed at a Hyatt Place in San Antonio with very good experiences and they continued the tradition here! You can expect the same ammenities throughout the group which is nice. The staff here was exceptional, attentive and very nice! Loved the location near the park and lots of green around. Close to the airport so you will hear some planes taking off but we were flying out the next day anyway. The price can't be beat, especially with a AAA discount!

As most people have stated this is very nice hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area that seems to be a safe as well. That's the main reason I selected it. There were other Hyatt hotels in the area that were a little cheaper, but I did like some of the comments about possible safety issues. The staff was very attentive. We were able to get extra towels and linens at any time we requested. The rooms are exactly how they appear on the pictures. They are surprisingly large. Even though the hotel is not new it has been well kept and have a new hotel appearance. If you looking for a very reasonable hotel in a quiet area this is the place for you.

My only con as some people have stated is the bathrooms are very small.
