This hotel was good for the nite.Called from airport three times before phone was answered. Shuttle was on time. For the price I could have tried other hotels.

I have just spent 5 nights here. Let me say that I travel for business combined with pleasure, my wife & 3 year old always come with, we stay in hotels almost every week for 2-4 nights across the S.E. so we have experienced the good, the bad & the ugly & we are picky within reason (hate dirt, mold & or stench). My 3-year-old takes his shoes & socks off the minute we hit the room and believe me if the carpet is a little dirty we will know within minutes (I have checked out of hotels because his feet were black with dirt). The room was clean (only a handful have microwave, & refrigerator) but all have a coffeepot. Outdoor pool felt great on a 95+-degree day we used & enjoyed it. Breakfast looks like the majority of hotels, cold cereal, waffles etc. The hotel was clean and well appointed, the airport is about 2 miles away so like most major airport areas it is neither great or bad, very little in the area but all of the players are here, i.e. Courtyard inn, Holiday inn Hampton inn, Ramada, and more. It appeared that the bulk of guests were airport bound based on the # of people Vs lack of cars in the lot.

My only complaint is the vanity and sink I liked it’s location in the alcove outside the toilet area, travailing with my spouse it makes it easier for 1 to shower while 1 shaves or puts on make-up etc, the complaint that area was poorly lit making it hard to see to do the above.

If you want a shopping area stay downtown for 2 – 3 times the rate or stay by Concord Mills mall off exit #49 on I-85.

The staff is courteous & helpful & friendly. Overall it’s not the Ritz, but it is a good value for your buck.

Because of flight delays, I was forced to spend the first night of my vacation at the Charlotte Airport. Not the best way to start a visit, but this motel was quite nice for an overnight stay near the airport. Nothing magical, but nothing dumpy either.
Because I was a "Distressed Traveler," I got a special rate, which came to $68 grand total. The room featured air conditioning, clock radio, phone, cable TV, coffee-maker, microwave, mini-fridge, hair dryer, and in-room clothes iron. Free amenities included parking, airport shuttle, wireless internet access, local phone calls, newspaper, and hot breakfast. There was an on-site pool, laundry room, and restaurant. A convenience store and a fast food place were within walking distance.

Because the place is designed for people flying out of the airport or traveling on I-85, the motel is away from any kind of culture or nightlife. It's a place to hang your head for a day or two, nothing more.

The van to the airport runs once every thirty minutes, and has limited space. You must sign up the night before to guarantee a place on this shuttle. If there are more passengers than seats, you'll have to wait till the next available van, which may not be for over an hour. If you must be a the airport at a specific early time, you'd best sign up for the shuttle the night before.

Shuttle service is very prompt. Check in was fast and accurate. Lobby was small, but nicely decorated and clean. Stayed here on our way to Caribbean and back again. First night's stay was perfect. Room coming back was stale smelling and toilet leaked. I'd stay again since it is so close to the airport and staff was very nice. Didn't use the pool or free breakfast so can't comment on that.
