I was pleased with the rooms and the staff. Everyone was helpful . The rooms were clean and the sheets were crisp. The hotel is in an excellent location. I would recommend this site to my family and friends when we travel.

This roadside hotel is unclean and in a questionable area. Check-in is conducted through a window slot. Breakfast is down right frightening. The clientele is long-term stay type [ie relocations and construction workers].

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a women's conference in Charlotte. We paid $70/night (including taxes) for two people. I have stayed at other Day's Inn, so didn't think this could be bad. This is a MUCH OLDER building. The carpet is dirty and matted down. The bathroom shower had mold on the walls, corners and floor. The back of the bathroom door had a dirty handprint mark and there was a dirty washcloth on the floor behind the bathroom door. It appeared that housekeeping simply pushed opened the door, cleaned a few things then left, without looking behind the door. The wallpaper is coming off the walls, and the towels were stained. The room had a musty smell. The continental breakfast was ok, except they didn't keep up with coffee. We waited 20 min after telling them they ran out. All in all, I was very disappointed, but by this time, nothing else was available. I will be checking trip advisor before I ever go to an unfamiliar place again!

I reserved this room last minuite on the internet for $41.00. I got to the hotel 45 min later and the clerk said he didnt have the reservation yet. I stood out in the cold for about 20 minuites I guess they lock everything up after 10:00. He finally gave me a room and said it was 49.00. I told him my internet reservation said 41.00. After several minuites of checking his computer and checking the FAX, he said he could give me the room for 44.00. Geezzz... I had not printed out the reservation because I made it on a laptop and didnt have a printer, but DID have a comformation #.
I was cold, tired and just excepted the rate. He was not very friendly, nor apoligetic for the resevation problems.

The room was horrible I asked for non smoking and the room smelled like smoke, and also smelled like a musty basement. There were stains on the ceiling. The cover on my pillows were very wrinkled as if someone had used them before and they didnt change the pillow cases. The face plate on the tissue dispenser fell off and the inside where the tissue box was nasty. There were dust bunnys on the floor all around the walls. And finally, I had to rinse the dust out of the coffee pot before I made coffee.

Do youself a favor and pay the extra 10-20 dollars and go some where else.
