My company has instituted stricter guidelines with regard to money spent on accomodations while traveling. The Comfort Inn enabled me to fall well within those guidelines without experiencing any falloff in comfort and amenities. The hot breakfast was more than I expected and the rooms were nice-sized. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is definitely the best value among the many hotels in the I-77/Southpark area. For an extremely reasonable rate (they take AAA and AARP), you get a hot breakfast with quite a few items - more than most Comfort Inns and other similarly priced brands we have stayed at. In addition, the new owners are making extensive renovations, both inside and outside the bulding. There is a very nice pool area. The hotel is located in a quiet secluded area, which has just been newly landscaped, there is a free shuttle to the airport, and the hotel is very close to the South Park area, which has great restaurants and shopping.

The hotel hotel also provides a good base for travel in the Charlotte area, since it is located right off I-77, only 10 minutes from uptown Charlotte, and close to Carowinds amusement Park, UNC-Charlotte, and I-85.

The staff is very accomodating and will help you with any requests for restaurants, directions, recommendations, etc.

There is no need to stay at the much higher priced chains because you will be plesantly surpised with the value you get here.

I liked the front desk person as I checked in later at night. She was very busy but was able to balance putting out breakfast, front desk and a lot of check-ins and paperwork. I wonder why, however, many of the staff seemed to have more to do than possible to do. Would like to remind management or owners that one room lost revenue would pay the salary of another person helping. Seems like a good investment to me!

6/27/09hotel has a nice clean pool and lobby area. but but but i got to the room and had no tv. My mom door did not lock and her a/c did not work. The floor had funky air smell. They switched the room and the fifth floor smell was fresh. There was ants I mean lots of ants in the elevator. The maintenance guy was running around trying to fix so much . The hotel really as alot of probelms. We had no towels I mean literally no towels.eek,eek very nasty hotel. i could not wash. i asked the front desk for towels and her response was out towels of t. I said huh, are you serious????? Dont waste your money on this garbage.
