We went to Charlotte to rest and relax and just to get away and spend some quality "alone time" together and watch the New Year come again.
My wife had had a major car accident a couple of months back that resulted in multiple injuries and as a result she can not get around as good as she would like and this bothers her being that she is only 43 years young.
As she went to check us in on 12/30/08, the hotel clerk made her feel so special, and helped her so much, even upgraded our room to a deluxe suite so that my wife would be comfortable if she couldn't sleep in the bed, she could relax on the sofa and told her that the stairs there at the hotel desk would be closer to our room than going around the outside to the car so that she wouldn't have to walk as far.
The clerk went out of her way to make my wife as comfortable as she could be during our stay and for that my wife and I am very grateful and my wife was totally speechless, and the clerk should be commended for her kindness and professionalism.
I say this because my wife loves to talk and has a very outgoing and lovable personality and will go out of her way to do whatever she can for someone else but, when she really needed someone to be there for her, I have to say that StudioPLUS of Charlotte came through for us and made our stay there one to remember. The suite was lovely and the prices can't be beat.
We enjoyed the relaxing and quiet atmosphere, the kind and wonderful staff, and our time spent in the city of Charlotte.

We stayed here at Studio Plus Tyvola Road by taking a chance. Meaning their site didn't have any real photos of the hotel. We pleasantly surprised by the size and cleanliness of the suite. This is not your fancy hotel, but great if you are looking for something affordable. The kitchen is the best part about it. There is a full size stove and fridge in there. My only complaint is that they don't have a computer in the lobby for guest use.
