We selected this hotel because of the special package that included a gas card. We were very pleased with the staff when they upgraded our room when they learned that we had an additional traveler, our granddaughter. They gave us the same rate and the same gas card package. The room was very clean and we had plenty of towels and toiletries and bedding for the couch. The hot breakfast was unique. They offered a variety of breakfast items that could be warmed up in a microwave that provided pictures of the food to get the correct heating time. Since we changed rooms at the last minute at arrival, they gladly provided the water that we normally receive as a platinum Hilton member upon request the next day. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a small outdoor pool, but we did not use it because it was crowded due to a family reunion being hosted on the premises. We were also pleased with the wireless internet service.

  • Liked — bathroom counterspace; wireless internet
  • Disliked — toilet was too short and flimsly toilet seat; hard couch for teenager

Good Hampton. Clean, comfortable room. Staff was friendly. Free reception. Free breakfast has good choices. Wifi internet access was reliable. Left my car window open and one of the staff covered it with plastic to protect it from rain. (They left a business card) Very kind. This is in a good location with many nearby resturant choices. Recommended for business travelers.

This hotel was fantastic! We traveled with our two greyhounds and my parents and their dog. The staff was very attentive and friendly and loved the fact that we had our pets with us. Check-in was a breeze and the rooms very nice and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. We were right next to the breakfast area and my parents were directly across from the elevators/vending area and yet we did not hear anything once in our room. There were a lot of restuarants in the area within walking distance and the room included a good sized fridge and microwave. The breakfast area looked extremely clean and they had a very good breakfast for a hotel which included the normal breakfast items (i.e. cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels) as well as items that changed daily (i.e. pancakes, french toast, breakfast sandwhiches, etc.). The lobby was warm and inviting and they had a sitting area where you could also watch TV. There was a lot of area behind the hotel where we could walk our dogs. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who is visting the Charlotte area.

I stayed for two nights but wanted to leave after the first night. fortunately no rooms were available in the other nearby hotels. My room's furnitures were shabby, the walls were tired-looking and the bathroom looked old and tiny. I asked for a fridge in advance but found out my room didn't have any. My requests for a fridge was all but ignored. My pleas for a change of room was turned down. The evening front desk girl was pleasant but the manager and the rest of the morning staff were grumpy and unprofessional. I stayed in three other Hampton Inns before which were all very nice but not this one. As a business traveller I would have stayed for two months but because of my negative experiences II would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed on a Saturday night with my wife and two kids during a sight-seeing trip. Hotel is an older Hampton but it has been refurbished and has the new beds. Pool is outdoor and hadn't been too well cleaned when we used it (bugs/leaves). Rooms on the small side but clean and Hampton-esque. Breakfast included the microwaveable eggs/pancakes/sausage rather than freshly made ones. Staff were pleasant but there weren't too many of them around. Location is good. Concord MIlls Outlet Mall is about 5-10 minutes North and Downtown Charlotte 10 mins to the South.
