“Great all around!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

This hotel accomondated us by letting us park our car on their lot for two weeks at no charge. They shuttled us back and forth to the Airport with no charge and we were even picked up after midnight. The hotel restaurant is open 24 hours a day and the breakfast is free and very good quality and quantity. he rooms are clean and comfortable. They have great staff that are very pleasant and helpful. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room Tip: All rooms on all floors are great.

Spent one night here last week on a business trip to Charlotte. Rooms are standard if small. Technological travellers will benefit from multiple plug-ins for electronics - the TV had inputs for every device imaginable. Bathroom & closet were very small which is more of an issue when traveling with another person.

I arrived at this hotel by mistake. They could not find my reservation and suggested it might be at the Hyatt Place down the road. After looking at my reservation, it was. I proceeded to drive down the road to other Hyatt Place. When arriving there they informed me they were overbooked and rebooked me at this Hyatt Place. I then drove back to this Hyatt Place. They apologized for the confusion but that was it. I originally was booked in a King room at the other hotel but they did not have any available here.

Only plus is the complimentary breakfest the next morning which is available to all guests and close to airport.

Recently stayed at the property and was very impressed. The property seems very new and is only a few minutes from the interstate. The hotel is close to the airport and offers free shuttle service if needed. The lobby is very clean and the front staff was very helpful. The rooms were much larger than expected. The rooms with two queen beds, had a large living room area with a pull out couch, large desk and a wet bar with a refrigerator. The sink and shower tub drained well and had great water pressure. The beds were slightly firm, no issue with the heating/a/c system being excessively loud.
Breakfast in the morning was a hot breakfast, very good. Ask for the AAA rate. Can't beat the price for the room size and breakfast.
There are not many eating establishments around, will need to go 5-10 minutes. There is a small shopping plaza across the parking lot with two restaurants.

We drove to Charlotte the night before a departing flight and stayed at this hotel. It was conveniently located, easy to access and the parking was well lit and in view of the front of the hotel. A small strip mall with several dining choices was within easy walking distance. The room was comfortable with a small fridge, a desk, a sofa and cushioned ottoman. The bed area is behind a half wall and the TV swivels so it can be watched from either area. Instead of a tub there was a roomy walk-in shower with glass sliding doors. The hotel offers an airport shuttle service from 4:30 am to around 7 pm. Parking is free for 7 days, then $7 per day thereafter. On our return we telephoned the hotel from the airport and their shuttle arrived in less than 15 minutes.

I'm normally a fan of Hyatt Place. The room consistency is amazing between properties. However for some reason I keep getting the ADA rooms. It happened again at this Hyatt Place. I also got a room directly adjacent to the elevator. Strike two. So I. Went down and asked the front desk to see about a standard room not near the elevator. "Sure" they said and quickly got me a new room key a few levels down. Turns out it was another ADA room, this time directly across from the elevator. I appreciate the room change but it doesn't do much for me if the same problems exist in the. New room.

Also found the Internet speed to be ridiculously slow. How can hotels continue to advertise high speed Internet and deliver dial up speeds. Oh we'll. If you want a room the looks like every other Hyatt Place, this one will do. But don't expect much else.

We stayed here because of its proximity to the airport, and ended up getting much more! The hotel is very clean, rooms are nicely laid out with modern decor, and staff is all very helpful. The breakfast (included) is the best part. Not your usual "continental" breakfast with old donuts and danishes! This one has hot breakfast sandwiches, fresh juice, and many more things to choose from. We will definitely make this our go-to place in Charlotte!
