The LQ here is a nice hotel with a good staff. I must say the area is a little sketchy. They must have has some problems because on the room key jacket they tell you to remove everything from your car.
Checkin
No problems. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and remembered my name for the rest of the afternoon whenever I saw him.
Room
Nice size room. I had 2 doubles with a desk and easy chair.
TV
The TV was horrible. It was so old and miscolored. Everything was green. The sound was very bad also. One station would be very loud and the next you couldn't hear. They really need some new TV's
Bed
The bed was OK. Nothing that great and a bit soft. It was OK for 1 night but I wouldn't have wanted to be on it more then a few nights.
Bathroom
The bathroom itself was OK. The problem was the vent in the bathroom was so loud I had to close the doors so I could sleep. Well the doors wouldn't stay closed so I had to jam some junk in there to keep them shut.
No problems with hot water.
Internet
It was free but their wireless wasn't that great. It got so bad at one point I had to call the helpdesk to get it fixed.
Breakfast
Continental breakfast that was OK. I have stayed at some LQ's that have a much better breakfast then this one.
Workout
It really wasn't worth anything. They had 2 treadmills and both of the belts slipped when you ran on them. Then they had 2 bikes. At least they worked.
Parking
I wanted to make sure my car was under a light in the parking lot. The surrounding area didn't look that great.
Overall it was OK for 1 night. I wouldn't really want to stay more then 1 night. The area is just a bit sketchy. There were a few problems and I can't really say it was a steal or anything at $85 a night. I'll stay elsewhere next time.
