Ate there with the family for an early dinner. It was about 1/3 full when we arrived, and was fairly busy by the time we left. The restaurant is on the very busy corner of East Franklin Street and Columbia. We couldn't find on-street parking, so we parked in a public parking lot behind the restaurant. The building is very nice, and when we walked inside there was a large bar, with table areas in 2 front window area, as well as in a section beside the bar. We were seated immediately, and the waitress took our drink order right away. The menu has the typical bar food, but the choices are interesting; burgers topped many different ways, sandwiches, and salads. My kids each ordered an appetizer as their meal. The chicken wings were very good. The chicken strips were a little boring. The homemade potato chips were ordered on the side, and were really quite good. My husband and I each had a burger. Mine had Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and I thought it was very good. He kept complaining that his tasted like vinegar, but he didn't have a pickle or any toppings except cheese that would be the. Apparent cause of the vinegar taste. He only ate about half of the burger, but he really should have sent it back. I'm sure they would've taken care of it, but he didn't tell so his loss.
The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was nice, and the waitress was prompt and friendly. My son and I thought our food was very good, while my husband and daughter didn't care for their's as well. So, 50/50 in terms of food satisfaction, but the service and atmosphere were very good! Also, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. I would go back, but my husband would pass.
