“Nice atmosphere, good food, excellent service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013

This was our second visit and the restaurant did not disappoint. The food, service and ambience are all well above average (as are the prices).

“Good but not great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

Ate here prior to UNC event at the Carolina Inn. Service was really good, attentive. Meals were very good, but not great. There are better meals nearby, but the parking and convenience, and quality of the food, made this a good choice prior to our homecoming weekends gathering.

“Great food, wine list, service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013 via mobile

My Husband chose this place after a friend's recommendation and we thoroughly enjoyed it!! The food was fantastic and the wine list was great. The service was prompt and not in your face every minute. It is a beautiful Hotel (The Carolina Inn) although we didn't stay there we might just for a little get away.

“Service, impeccable; breakfast, eh.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

The service could not have been better, but, frankly, the food was very unexciting. The Tarheel Special Omelette was actually pretty bland. Adequate, but bland. BUT, the setting is beautiful and, again, the serive was impeccable. If this is your chance to see the Carolina Inn, by all means, do it. The hotel is amazing and well worth the visit, even for an OK breakfast.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

Last Sunday was the second or third time I have been to the Carolina Inn for brunch, and it is an excellent choice for a special meal. The restaurant itself is lovely, exuding classic Southern charm. Service was very attentive throughout the meal. The buffet was bountiful and excellently prepared. While it was pricy, the variety and quality of food are worth the splurge on special occasions.
