This Hampton has a bright and pleasant breakfast area, pleasant staff, a collection of great UNC newspaper clippings and photos, and all the amenities you expect at a Hampton Inn. The location is very convenient to Route 40. We had a great stay.

We stayed at this hotel for two weekends in September 2012. A very good hotel close to everything in Chapel Hill area. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and sheets were quite soft. The breakfast was excellent but pretty crowded the four times I was there. They do have some outside tables if the weather is nice. Very easy access to I-40 and the airport.
We enjoyed our stays there.
Front desk staff was pleasant and efficient.

We stayed here in Aug 2012 and had a wonderful experience. The suite was by far the cleanest I have seen in any hotel. The suite was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen had a large fridge and large microwave, cooktop and dishwasher. The pool area was very pretty and had a barbeque area as well. The breakfast buffet was very nice too. I cannot find anything negative to say about this hotel.

We had a last minute overnight trip to Chapel HIll area. We arrived about 11 am in morning and staff did their best to get us into our room a bit early (by 1 pm) which we really appreciated. They also let us check out about 30 minutes late the next day and very graciously photocopied some items for us. Our room was clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was fine. Pool area looked nice although we did not have time to use it. We did use the fitness room and all machines and TV were in working order. Easy access to 40 and to Chapel Hill. We would stay here again!
