Description: This is a new restaurant only approximately 6 or less months old. Great food, awesome wines! People have been drawn by their salads, good wines, and outdoor seating. It's wonderful to sip a fine wine or prosecco while munching on Cafe Caturra's cheese and meat board! Amazing! I hope that you will add this so that people can start raving about this place! It's new to Cary but I think it will quickly become a favorite!

“Usually a take away pizza to eat at work”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

Love their small pizzas and ice tea. We split them at work for lunch all the time. The crust is awesome and the toppings delicious. Make pizza taste healthy.

“This place has a personality conflict”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

I cannot figure this place out. Excellent selection of wines. Ann ecclectic menu. Yet, you order at a register like McDonalds and get your own water during the day. The dining room is beautiful - but the tables are squooshed close together along a long bench seat like a bus station. I think the small plates are tasty - but very overpriced. Two shrimp tacos with 4 tiny salad shrimp for $8 (I think). Our service was terrible, a clueless high school student who didn't have a clue about any of the menu items. The chicken curry salad sandwich is delicious - until last time I ordered it, it was so salty it had to be sent back. I won't be returning, or talking up this place anymore.

“Stop Changing the Dang Menu”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012

My wife and I loved this place. We were a walking commercial for them. Anytime anyone would ask for a place to eat, we always put Cafe Caturra at the top of the list. We went there for a long time.
Relaxing, nice wine selection, and great selection of small plate tasty appetizers, desserts, and entrees, great atmosphere, etc.... 6 months ago would have gave them 5 stars. Then it happened.
We went with some friends telling them about an appetizer we love. We get there and it is no longer on the menu. We had to find something else.
We went back a couple of more times and found more plates we liked. Guess what, happened again, now these are off the menu.
We cant go back due to the inconsistencies in the menu. I can understand adding to the menu based on seasonality, but why not have a consistent menu and then add, not delete, based on the season? Funny thing is, someone we referred there and told them about the mini-desserts just told us they dont have those anymore either.
Our search for a replacement continues.

“Ecletctic & Tasty!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2012

Great wines - you can taste before you buy @ the wine bar. Great variety of foods - sandwiches, salads - small plates an option.
